The Phi Zeta Manuscript Award competition occurs annually with the deadline for manuscript submission coming up in the second week of February. Each chapter may submit one manuscript in each of the two categories, Basic Science and Clinical Science. The chapter is responsible for selecting its best manuscripts for these categories. The lead author must be a veterinarian who has been involved in a graduate or resident program in the last 2 years, and the manuscript must be published or accepted for publication. All of the details for eligibility and the submission process can be found at the new Phi Zeta website https://www.societyofphizeta.org/awards, at the menu choice Manuscript Award Guidelines. Please begin now to solicit manuscripts from your residents, graduate students, and junior faculty who meet the eligibility criteria so that your chapter will have up to two manuscripts ready to submit to the competition by the deadline. In 2019, the second Monday in February will be February 11th.
