[PhiZetaNational] [EXT] Annual Phi Zeta meeting date, call for nominations

Good afternoon,

The 2023 Annual Meeting of the Society of Phi Zeta will take place on Thursday, July 20th beginning at 2:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time.

In anticipation of the national meeting, Chuck Wiedmeyer has requested I put out a call for nominees for his replacement as President. Chuck has served beyond the call by leading the organization for the past 4+ years and so it is time for someone new to step into the position.

The president is responsible for leading the annual online meeting, coordinating with the chapters responsible for judging the submissions to the annual Research Manuscript Award competition (a rotating committee of 8 chapters per year), and shepherding potential new chapters through the chapter formation process. Chuck made his own valuable addition to those traditional responsibilities by successfully obtaining corporate sponsorship of the Research Manuscript Award, $5,000 from Mars Veterinary Health in 2022 and, this year, $5,000 from Purina.
